Why I’m Supporting Ric O’Barry’s Dolphin Project

This cause found me in an unexpected way—through a link shared by Jared (Around 2010) to the documentary The Cove. Watching it was heartbreaking. I had no idea dolphins were still being hunted, captured, and forced to live in captivity for entertainment.

That moment changed something in me.

I began learning more and came across Ric O’Barry’s Dolphin Project—a movement founded by the very man who once trained dolphins for Flipper, and who now fights to protect them.

I’ve added this to my website because I truly believe these intelligent, social animals deserve to live wild and free, not in tanks or shows.
